A dandy little invite

On Thursday the 27th of October two exciting events will take place. firstly i will finish exams and therefore my holidays begin, meaning that i will go surfing that evening for the first time this summer!! Since i have friends who surf and also happen to be bloggers some of them I thought I'd put the invite out and say, "who wants to come?" (surfing that is, not to my last exam) Pictures are of ryan this week, and then ryan next week.

Should we go here for a wave?

Something for you to look forward to. You will be stoked Thursday night! Wouldn't it be great to show up to an exam that you had no idea about and sit it? It would be interesting to see how many marks you could achieve. Dear I say physio wouldn't be the one to test this on, but a subject with less technical terms would be great. I have also juggled with the concept of going into an exam without really studying as it would be great to avoid doing those extra hours of study if you could still pass. I had a Californian flatmate last century who expected them to give out marks. He hardly studied and got 17% for a paper. He stopped hassling my C+ after that!

Interesting concept, and i have tried it out before albeit a bursary and not a uni exam. yes the glorious world of physics captured so little of my attention that i spent no time at all on the subject the whole year preferring to create world war scenarios with a certain Cruckshank. ended up guessing letters in formulas and got a healthy 41% in the exam, 5% off a pass, never mind, it has done little to hamper my life plans

mate, i thought i'd tell you before anyone else, i dont know how to say this, but im leaving on a jet plane and i dont know when i'll be back again.

the big lights, the flash cars, and the promise of lots of cash has enticed me to the tax haven known as onehunga. THere i'll be working the block, trying to shift packets just so i can make it thru another day. My soul will be sucked out of me, but alas, where one's treasure is, so his heart is also. And the bling is just too much to resist. I know i've sold out, but really it happened a long time ago, when i bought those ten dollar gucci sunnys. Its been a privilege to know all you hippys and i'll never forget the loose living and spirit of freedom which engendered so much love. But go i must!

fairwell dear friend. you shall be much missed. i trust those fast legs will keep you ahead of the fast paced Aucklanders. is a pity your not coming south for some surfing, guess i'll have to pop thru Aucks for a visit sometime. your right that where your treasure is your heart is...but i'm not sure bling is that treasure Justin, you have that little box of bling anyway, you have all you need of that. goodluck with your pursuits and keep a soft place in that heart of yours for wee Dunedin. peace out brother. ry
